In the II Festival Miradas de Mujeres( Views of women) celebrated simultaneously across Spain, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró will present during the month of March a series of proposals like conferences, workshop and video projections. Although the activities are free registration is required.
This festival is organized by the Association Mujeres en las Artes Visuales(MAV) (Women in the Visual Arts) and aims to obtain the exposure and spread the work carried out by women in the art world in Spain deserves. On the island they have joined the initiative, which has more than fifty participants, artists, curators and lecturers

13/03/2013: 19:00. Two presentations El agua para las bestias, el vino para el hombre, el bastón para las mujeres (The water for the cattle, wine for the man, the baton for women), directed by Eva Lootz and, Proyectos, procesos y filmes (Projects, processes and films), by Alexandra Rannier
20/03/2013: 19.00 h. Sample of projections of video entitled Caminos de identidad: introspección y memoria (Roads of identity: introspection and memory), curated by Asun Clar. Their authors are Diana Coca, Astrid Colomar, Glòria Mas, Teresa Matas, Blanca Pérez Portablella and Amparo Sard.
