๐Ÿ† What is at stake

The ATP Challenger Tour is the tier just below the main circuit: the place where rising youngsters meet former top-100 players trying to work their way back.

The result is a tournament with a very high standard and something the big events no longer offer: closeness. You watch the tennis from just a few metres away, with no huge stands in between.

๐ŸŸ๏ธ The academy as a venue

The Rafa Nadal Academy is more than a tennis club: it is an international high-performance centre in Nadal's home town. During tournament week it opens its courts to the public and fills up with families, fans and curious visitors.

Alongside the competition there is a parallel programme of food, live music and family activities.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Rafa Nadal Museum

Anyone who downloads a tournament ticket can visit the newly refurbished Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience for a special price of 14 euros: trophies, sporting memorabilia and interactive experiences.

โ„น๏ธ Good to know: entry is free but the ticket must be downloaded in advance. Arrive early and bring a cap, water and sun protection, as much of the day is played under the late-August sun.

โœจ Top-level tennis, free of charge, half an hour from almost anywhere in Mallorca. Few September plans are this good value.
