Espai ArtMallorca celebrates this cycle of lectures entitled Coleccionismo e inversión en arte: ¿Cómo comprar, vender e invertir?, (Collecting and investing in art: How to buy, sell and invest?), by Aina Ferrero and Sara Rivera.
Both speakers work in the world of art criticism, curatorship and cultural management. Aina Ferrero is an art historian and specialist in market and pricing of art – she has done a thesis on the market study of the painting of Miquel Barceló-and a degree in management and cultural policies by the UOC. Meanwhile, Sara Rivera has a degree in Art History and has done a Master's Degree in Contemporary Visual Culture at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid.
The cycle programs two conferences:
12.02.2013: Coleccionismo de arte (The collecting of art). It will explain the real dimension of collectors in the history of art and its relation as a seminal pillar to the development of the same, citing examples of great collectors throughout history.
26.02.2013: El arte de invertir en arte (The art of investing in art). In a a practical way, they will perform analysis of what is the best way to invest in art, the characteristics that make a make potentially profitable work and, among other things, the most sought after artists today.
