The fascination of cinema by vertical architecture has been repeated in many films since the dawn of this industry until today. El hombre de al lado (The Man Next Door, Argentina, 2010), directed by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, takes place in Casa Cucutchet, the only building designed by Le Corbusier in a Latin American country.
The Vertical plane Cinema cycle is coordinated by Fernando Lara, journalist and film writer and former director of the International Film Festival of Valladolid. The films are screened in original version with subtitles.
