Christian Di Fiore Quartet

The Italian Christian di Fiore, today considered one of the greatest virtuosos of the Italian zampogna, is one of the proposals of the XXVIII Trobada de Xeremiers i Fira de luthiers de Sa Pobla.

In 2014 he founded the group Christian Di Fiore & Sinfonia Ensemble, made up of zampogna, oboe, double bass, accordion, organ and drums, with which he proposes a repertoire of original and innovative compositions that mixes sounds from the Italian tradition with sounds from non-European traditions. .

The repertoire, exclusively instrumental, is a kind of journey through time and various musical styles, starring the bagpipes and the accordion accompanied by the piano, a classical instrument par excellence.
