An American and Mexican co-production from 1974 directed by Sam Peckinpah, who also took care of the script along with Gordon Dawson. At the time of its release it was heavily criticized for its violence and sadism, but is now considered by many as a masterpiece of cinema.
The story takes off with the pregnancy of the teenage daughter of a wealthy Mexican landowner who everybody calls The Boss. Apparently the father is Alfredo Garcia, an old family friend. In retaliation, The Boss offers a reward of one million dollars to anyone who kills him and brings his head to the ranch.
Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia closes this edition of the cycle Cinefilms organized by CineCiutat. The films are screened in original version with subtitles in Castilian.
