This conference is one of the associated activities to the exhibition. Balears 1900-1935, which can be seen until January 6, 2014 at the Museu d'Historia de Manacor. Art historian Vicenç Amengual analyzes the role of travelers in the early twentieth century in the vision of Mallorca.
La mirada del Viatger. Balears 1900-1935 (The eye of the traveler. Balearic 1900-1935) shows a selection of photographs from the collections of Josep Salvany, Leandre Cervera, Frederic Mompou, Publisher Albert Martin and Francesc Fornells i Matheu. They are all part of the holdings of the Library of Catalonia, which in 1923 created the Section of Prints, Maps and Engravings.
