Marta Barceló is the author of Zona inundable, a fictionalized historical document about the floods that occurred in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in October 2018. An event that caused the death of eleven people and an unprecedented solidarity explosion.
The archives of the peace courts of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar were completely flooded, the history of thousands of people was erased. The main image of this show comes from memory, in the hands of volunteer archivists who help explain this story.
Directed by Marta Gil Polo, Zona inundable is performed by Isabelle Bres, Marc Garcia Coté, Marc Joy, Pepa López, Vanessa Segura and Àlvar Triay. A co-production of the National Theater of Catalonia and the Principal Theater of Palma. Catalan language.
