Ermanno Panta (voice, flute, sax), Sergi Gómez (flamenco guitar), Daniel Abad (double bass) and Luati González (drums) form the group Zeitun, an Arabic word meaning olive. Four musicians from Sicily, Catalonia and Andalusia that generate a unique sound.
In the Teatre Municipal Mar i Terra they present their new show with music from Sicily, Formentera and Ishbilia. A representation in which flamenco styles and the traditional musical styles of southern Italy converge.
The repertoire feeds on the poetry of Abu Al Arab (Arab-Sicilian poet of the eleventh century) with lyrics in Sicilian, Castilian, formenterensa and Arabic.
