The young British saxophonist Yolanda Brown has been the first artist to be awarded two consecutive Mobo awards for the Best Jazz category. Her ascending progression is indisputable and with her new album, Love Politics War,, she has surprised the world with the masterful mix of Jazz, Reggae and Soul.
She has toured with great artists such as Diana Krall, The Temptations, Billy Ocean and has collaborated with other artists such as Julian Marley or the Royal Philarmonic concert Orchestra. She now opens the new edition of the AlcúdiaJazz festival.
This new album went straight to No. 1 on the Jazz charts and is being highly applauded by critics in the United Kingdom. It stands out for the reflection of the current state of the world, political tensions and numerous uprisings and protests, always with the underlying message that love can conquer everything.
