'Yo es tú'

The Argentine actress Paulina Tovo presents at the Teatre Principal de Santanyí Yo es tú, an original proposal that intertwines theater and documentary. The show is part of the program of the Festival s'Illo 2018 organized by the Associació Cultural de Can Timoner.

The work is marked by the life trajectory of Paulina Tovo, born in Argentina and raised in Denmark, where she arrived in 1980 as a refugee. Tovo uses the story in the first person with fragments of documentaries of the Danish television of 1980 and 1981 on her and her family. Also with testimonies of people from the Greek refugee camps collected in 2016, who have requested asylum in Europe.
