With only six years Yedam Kim (Incheon, South Korea, 1988) began her piano studies. After winning several awards in national competitions, in 2002 she moved to Paris to continue her training.
In the last ten years she has been awarded in a dozen international competitions. In 2012 twice, to collect the first prize at the Amadeo International Competition in Aachen and second prize in the International Competition for Spanish Composers in Madrid.
She comes to the XXXV International Music Festival Deia to offer a new edition of the Cycle Black and White, Amadeo in Deia. She will interpret works by Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Ravel (La Valse).
