The writer Guillem Frontera will be responsible for reading the proclamation with which on Friday, May 29 will be inaugurated , at 18:00, the XXXIII Book Fair organized by the Gremi de Llibreters de Mallorca. Its program, wide and varied, includes book presentations, signing of authors, dramatized readings, cultural events and music concerts.
Among the novelties, the first meeting of reading clubs of Mallorca, in which will be celebrated a marathon reading of the work Sicília sense morts by Guillem Frontera. In addition, throughout the whole fair visitors can vote for the best book in Castilian and Catalan of the fair.
There will be three staged readings: Esprint, Caligula (commemorating the 80th anniversary of the visit of Albert Camus to Malorca) and L'Arxiduc a l'Artesana (to mark the first centenary of the death of Archduke Luis Salvador).
