New edition of the Setmana del Llibre en Català (Catalan Book Week) organized by the Gremi de Llibreters de Mallorca y and the Consell de Mallorca. It starts November 9 at 6:30 pm with the opening speech by Isabel Peñarrubia i Marquès (Palma, 1951), Doctor in Contemporary History from the University of Barcelona, and the opening party with Ja res té sentit si no sona amb swing, a didactic jazz concert for the whole family with the Companyia Acompassats.
Besides showing the latest novelties and editions will be carried out parallel activities such talk shows to book presentations, workshops, storytelling or poetry readings. Program.
