On October 29, 1522 Pollença suffered the greatest cataclysm in its history, an overwhelming political and military defeat that forever changed the people from Pollença, who would never again challenge the legally constituted authorities. Therefore, it was known as the Dia de la Destrossa.
El dia de la Destrossa. Germanies i repressió (1521-1523) is the title of this XXI Course of History of Pollença held from February 6 to March 21 and is coordinated by Pere Vives Salas.
