This course of philosophy and politics is organized by the Section of the Spanish Balearic Classical Studies (SEEC). It consists of two classes that are held on November 30 and December 14.
Program:
30/11/2012: Sabios y filósofos contra tiranos: una hostilidad ancestral (Sages and philosophers against tyrants: ancestral hostility), by Francesc Casadesús Bordoy, Greek philosophy professor at the University of the Balearic Islands and president of la Sección Balear de la SEEC.
14/12/2012: Desarrollo político de Atenas y Roma entre las aristocracias y las democracias (Political development of Athens and Rome between the aristocracies and democracies), by Francisco Rodriguez Adrados, academician of the Royal Spanish Academy and the Royal Academy of History.
