Sandals, moccasins, sport shoes, dancing shoes, flip flops, espadrilles, boots..... This weekend you can find all kinds of shoes in Lloseta, which becomes a showcase of the latest novelties in its annual fair dedicated to local crafts. Also shown will be Works of Pottery and restoration of furniture especially.
In addition to the extensive range of products offered by companies of Lloseta and from other points of Mallorca, the fair allows you to see the artisans working in shoe manufacturing demonstrations that take place twice a day on Saturday and Sunday (12 : 00 and 18:00) in Plaça d'Espanya.
There are also different activities scheduled. Saturday 6th a Mass is celebrated to pay tribute to the Lloseta shoemakers, parades of xeremiers, open house at the Hostatgeria Es Convent (also on Sunday), exhibition of the School of Judo, exhibition of Sandungueros Samba Club ... and, to finish the day, ball de bot and party with music by Dj Juan Campos.
Part of Sunday activities take place in the gardens of the Palau d'Aiamans, a former manor of the counts of Aiamans and barons of Lloseta entirely renovated in the late nineteenth century. Here will be mounted an exposure of Vespa scooters and a display of birds of prey and Falconery by Aguiles de Mallorca.
Meanwhile, 4 Llaunes Club will mount an exhibition of historical and classic vehicles at calle Joan Carles I. The fairgrounds are filled with craft stalls and will be the epicenter of a medieval animation in which participate los Joglars, La Bruixa Burbruja and cyclist Boig.
In the morning there will also be parades by schools of Xeremiers i Flabiolers of Sa Pobla, Manacor and Lloseta and, at 13:00, a joint performance of the three formations.
