Fourth concert of the autumn cycle of the band SimfoVents Palma dedicated to the figure of the Russian composer, conductor and pianist Dmitri Shostakóvich (Saint Petersburg, 1906-Moscow 1975), one of the most solid, heterogeneous and eclectic musicians of the 20th century.
Directed by Francisco Valero-Terribas, the program of Shostakóvich poliédrico is made up of Overture on popular Russian themes and Khirghiz, Jazz Suite no. 2 and Symphony no. 9 in E flat major, op. 70.
