New edition of this fair dedicated to lovers of viticulture. It IS celebrated since 2004 and is organized by the city of Pollença and la Associació Vi Primitiu, a name they borrowed from the poet and chronicler of the town Miquel Bota Totxo. This year, the theme of the fair is a phrase of Salvador Dalí: Who knows how to taste does not drink too much wine, but enjoys its sweet secrets...
In this edition will participate 38 wineries and cellars of Mallorca: Bodegas Munar, Vins Nadal, Sebastià Pastor, Son Sureda Ric, Castell Miquel, José Luis Ferrer, Canyelles i Batle, Jaume de Puntiró, Son Ramon, Ca'n Pico, Bodegas Bordoy, Ca'n Vidalet, Ca'n Verdura, Galmés i Ferrer, Ca Sa Padrina, Vid'Auba, Miquel Oliver, Vinya Taujana, Son Prim, Can Ramis, Miquel Gelabert, Pere Seda, Celler Son Vives, Mortitx, Butxet, Binigrau, Son Bordils, Antonio Nadal, Coleto Can, Can Feliu, Son Campaner, Ana Vins, Bodegas Angel, Son Vich de Superna, Tomeu Isern, Don Puig, Armero i Adrover and Son Artigues.
The stands are mounted in the cloister of the convent of Santo Domingo, which becomes the best showcase of Mallorca wine products and the most extensive and varied wine tasting. This year the association of restaurateurs of Pollença also participates with thirteen restaurants that will each offer a special menú Fira del Vi accompanied by Mallorcan wines.
