'Winter's Tale'

Winter's Tale is considered one of the best works of William Shakespeare. Now, one of the big international companies, Cheek by Jowl, under the direction of one of the most recognized European directors, Declan Donnellan, produces this version in which it crosses codes and styles.

The play speaks of a delirious and paranoid king who destroys his family. But, contrary to what happens in the great works of Shakespeare, the initial darkness gives rise to joy. A work full of freshness and optimism with which the Bard shook the weight of so many tragedies.
