'Whiplash'

2014 American film with screenplay and direction by Damien Chazelle that features in his multiple awards 3 Oscar for Best Supporting Actor (J.K. Simmons), editing and sound and Best Film and Audience Award at the Sundance Festival. It is screened in VOSE within the I Festival Jazz Palma.

The protagonist of Whiplash is Andrew Neiman (Milers Teller), a young and ambitious jazz drummer, marked by the failure of his father's literary career, who tries to succeed in the elitist Conservatory of Music on the East Coast.
