This remake of the musical premiered in 1961 is an adaptation of the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. In this case, the two feuding families become two gangs from the West Side of New York: the Jets led by Riff and the Puerto Rican Sharks led by Bernardo.
But when Tony, Riff's best friend and former Jets, meets Maria, Bernardo's little sister, their love will become unstoppable, beyond the bands. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
