Directed by Fernando Marina, Orchestra Acadèmia 1830, the Cor Acadèmia 1830 and Musicantes de Mallorca offer this concert with music by two key composers of the nineteenth century: Richard Wagner (Germany, 1813 Italy, 1883) and Giacomo Puccini (Italy, 1858 Belgium, 1924). As soloists will perform baritone Joan Miquel Muñoz and tenor Antoni Lliteres.
The first part of the program is dedicated to Wagner, with three well-known fragments of his works: Prelude to Act III of Lohengrin, Walther Song and the Prelude to Die Meistersinger.
In the second part, the Puccini Gloria Mass, released in 1880 when the Italian composer was just 21 years.
