The City Council of Vilafranca de Bonany convenes this new edition of the song contest in Catalan which is held within the festivities of Santa Barbarà.
The objective is to promote musical and compositional creativity and interpretive and musical ability, aiming to facilitate access to the world of recording. The only requirements for participation is that the songs presented are unpublished and in Catalan. Tomeu Penya chairs the jury for this prize of 600 euros. The deadline for registration is December 2 (entry € 15).
