'Vienna, from Classicism to Romanticism'

The fifth concert of the 2019-2020 Season of the Fundació Studium Aureum is dedicated to the transition from Classicism to Romanticism with Vienna as the center of gravity of European music.

The concert is directed by Carles Ponseti and the program consists of works by Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809), Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) and Franz Schubert (1797-1828).

Half an hour before the concert, the composer Mercè Pons will give a talk about the composers and the works that are performed.
