The gardens of the Cartuja de Valldemossa host the first edition of Pollença Mercat d'Art, a one-day pop up in which a group of 15 contemporary artists participate.
The artists, who are part of the Mallorcan artistic circuit, have been selected for their variety of styles and techniques, from sculpture to drawing through painting, collage, ceramics and engraving. The objective is to show their works in an alternative format in order to bring art closer to the general public.
The artists that will participate in this first edition are: Alex Ceball, Victoria García Masdeu, Aina Velasco Borrás, Alberto Diego, Barbara Viel, Josep Bauzá, Katrin Starostenko, Malú Matteo, Marc Vidal, María Estelrich, Cianotipas, María Morell, Pablo Pelluz, Reyes Marfil and Teresa Ruiz de Lobera.
During the day, and in parallel, a selection of artists will present the Tramuntana exhibition at the Fundación Coll Bardolet with works inspired by the Tramuntana, Valldemossa and the universe of the painter Josep Coll Bardolet.
