Guillermo Ros and Alberto Feijóo met in 2014 in a collective exhibition. From then on they began a visual exchange at a distance, materializing in a punctual manner on some occasions and generating a code between them.
Unchained is a work where personal experiences are intertwined and where the role of the artist as a producer / accumulator within the Art system is questioned.
In the Fran Reus Gallery, Unchained takes the form of a shared flat. In this room, occupied by tenants, a series of everyday elements coexist they overlap with works of both artists and where the dialogue between the two artists materializes.
With purpose of this exhibition, Unchained Vol.1 is published, a publication that includes a selection of images that both artists have shared among themselves in recent years from distance.
