Maria Cabeza de Vaca, dancer and choreographer, presents this solo dance –performance humorously pondering about existence. It is inspired by a brief writing of the artist Louise Bourgeois that is about suicide and the concept of the end as the engine of change.
Premiered in 2011 at the International Festival of Performing Arts Sevilla, Una forma fácil de acabar con todo (An easy way to end everything) was awarded Best Show of Sala de 2012 and Best Female Artist by the Association of Professional Dancers in Andalusia, awards that are added to the ones already harvested by the artist throughout her career.
After working as a performer in several companies, she now combines her facets of creator and performer in collaborative and individual works.
