A show about mushrooms

In autumn the forests of Mallorca are filled with edible mushrooms with which are elaborated many recipes  that are a delight to the palate. Mancor de la Vall developed a fair  around these fungi , with a variety of activities during the whole weekend.

The traditional craft market opens on Saturday at 11 am and will remain also on Sunday, with produce stands and thematic exhibitions in the village streets. One of the highlights is the recreation of the battle between the Saracens and Christians knights, accompanied by the xeremiers of the clustering Arrels  from Mancor de la Vall.

There will be tastings of dishes where mushrooms are the protagonists, like cod with mushroom sauce, steak with wild mushrooms, steak with mushroom sauce, vegetables and mushrooms kinks or fry mushrooms, among others.
