The Canadian writer, actor and theater director, of Lebanese origin, Wajdi Mouawad (Beirut, 1968) is the author of the monologue Un obus dans le coeur (A Bomb in the Heart), which is now presented by Lykos Produccions in Catalan under the direction of Joan M. Albinyana and performed by Joan Toni Sunyer.
It tells the story of Wahab, a young Lebanese man living in Canada who one winter night receives a call from the hospital where his mother is dying. An autobiographical and heartbreaking work narrated in the poetic style of Wajdi Mouawad.
