The Extremadura company Teatro Guirigai stages Un encuentro con Miguel Hernández (An encounter with Miguel Hernándeza), a vital journey of a young man full of energy and talent, involved in the transformation of his country.
As masters of ceremonies, three interpreters invite the public to meet the vital moments of the poet Miguel Hernández: his childhood in Orihuela, adolescence, first love, his arrival in Madrid, Republic, war and prison, where he died of tuberculosis in 1942.
The poet's verses and a soundtrack make up the dramaturgy of A. Iglesias. The scenography highlights a plastic installation made by the artists Ñuis Pablo Gómez Vidal and Maite Álvarez.
