Two Door Cinema Club is a band of indie rock and electropop from Northern Ireland, which formation consists of Alex Trimble (vocals, electric guitar, synthesizers, beats), Kevin Baird (bass and vocals) and Sam Halliday (guitar and voice), they started out in 2007.
The Irish are one of the bands of fashion of the moment. With their debut album Tourist History, signed by the independent label Kitsuné from Paris in February 2010, they captivated the specialized press. They have played at festivals such as the Spring of Bourges or the Rock en Seine. In Spain, they did last year at the SOS 4.8 festival in Murcia and this summer at the Arenal Sound in Castellón, where they shared the bill with Kaiser Chiefs.
Now the group has just released their latest album entitled Beacon, of which many of the themes will sound to dismiss the Mallorca Rocks 2012. Nor will fail their hymn I can talk.
With this performance, the Mallorca Rocks festival closes its season of concerts that have been held every Tuesday from June to September and a second weekly appointment with electronic music on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
