'Troianes'

Joan Fullana directs this free version from Les Troyennes, the adaptation written by Jean-Paul Sartre in 1965 on the work of the Greek playwright Euripides. Las troyanas is a chant full of drama for the consequences of war. It situates us at the time of disaster, destruction, hate, guilt, the distribution of the booty. The women - daughters, widows, sisters - are the real victims of the tragedy.

Troianes, dramatized by Joan Tomàs Martínez and Joan Fullana, is the result of four months of work of the Interpretation course and the Interpretation Workshop IV of la Escola Superior d'Art Dramàtic de les Illes Balears.

With music by Joan Fullana and a song of The Doors, The End, it is interpreted by Margalida Alajarín, Toni Amengual, Neus Botsmann, Emi Cabrera, Nuria Fiol, Cecilia Genovart, Marina Ibarra, Gypsy Nel·lo, Nuria Sbert and Lala Vincenç. Video of Toni Amengual.
