The 9th Alcúdia Clarinet Festival begins with this trio created in 2017 at the initiative of clarinetists Silvia Insa, Joan Sempere and Rafel Caldentey. The objective: to discover and expand the repertoire for horns di bassetto of Viennese classicism.
With modern instruments, but with dynamics linked to the historicist trend, the Cornucòpia Trio offers programs in which it invites one or more artists to enrich the experience of its concerts.
In this way, it has collaborated with the clarinetists Jessica Tamarit and Teresa Lecumberri and has commissioned and premiered the work Tensa Quietud (2019) to the composer and director Salvador Sebastià.
