The Banda i Escola de Música of sa Pobla offer this concert within the XXXVII Encontre Internacional de Compositors and the Fira de Tardor. It is dedicated to the Spanish composer and pianist Enrique Granados, who died on March 24, 1916 in the sinking of the ship Sussex in the English Channel, after being bombarded by the German Navy during World War I. This year marks the first centenary.
It emphasizes the participation of the young composer José María Bru García, as a manifestation of the support of the Festival to the evolution and formation of young talented composers.
