With this semi-staged concert, the Opera Season commemorates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Richard Wagner (1813-1883). Jaume Martorell is the creator of the stage concept, with musical direction by José Miguel Pérez-Sierra and the participation of the Balearic Symphony Orchestra 'Ciutat de Palma'.
This tour of the Wagnerian tetralogy includes parts of the four operas that form the cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen: Das Rheingold, The Walquiria, Siegfried and The Fall of the gods. The four are loosely based on figures and elements of Germanic mythology and are considered masterpieces of the German composer.
