Historical Fencing Tournament

The courtyard of Bellver Castle becomes the perfect stage of this tournament organized by the association AMEH Sala de Armas Jaime III El Temerario(AMEH Weapons Room Jaime III The Bold) and the Spanish Federation of Historical Fencing.

Historical fencing is a set of ways to fight with bladed weapons practiced in ancient times in Europe, both militarily and for self defense. There are different types of styles, of which the names are associated to the country of origin as the German School, the French, Italian and Spanish.

The tournament is open to the general public, who will enjoy this exhibition of a practice now converted into an Olympic sport.
