'Toni Miranda, a tribute'

For his long career, still active, for his connection and participation with the Mallorca Jazz sa Pobla Festival and for his contribution to the jazz genre, the Mallorcan guitarist Antoni Miranda stands with the Mallorca Jazz sa Pobla Festival Award 2023. To celebrate, he offers this concert in the Parc Can Cirera Prim.

From a very young age, Antoni Miranda (1960) frequented the Centro de la guitarra, a musical temple from the sixties and seventies in Palma. There he became interested in jazz and met Salvador Font "Mantequilla" and Manolo Bolao, with whom he shared the stage for some years.

Miranda has participated in all kinds of formations and creative alliances and stands out for his educational aspect, where he develops an important task transmitting experience and passion for jazz music.
