Tomeu Moll, 'Veus Un piano'

The last concert of the XLI Encontre Internacional de Compositors will be carried out by Mallorcan pianist Tomeu Moll, who presents the program Veus Un piano.

The generating element of this repertoire is the influence of human speech on piano performance. The importance of staging the concert is also taken into account, which has an almost theatrical touch.

In this concert you will be able to hear works by Vinko Globokar, Peter Ablinger, the premiere of Mashup Joan Mascaró - the homage of Tomeu Moll-Mas and Helga Arias to the Mallorcan philologist and poet Joan Mascaró i Fornés (Santa Margalida, 1897- Cambridge, 1987) - and the piece by Frederic Rzewski De Profundis, based on the homonymous book by Oscar Wilde.
