This concert of the XXXVIII International Music Festival of Deià gathers on stage Finnish Martti Wallen (bass) and Herman Wallen (tenor), accompanied on piano by Lena Sorkina and Alfredo Oyagüez. The program consists of Michelangelo Lieder of Hugo Wolf Lieder of Yrjo Kilpinen and Arias of Wagner.
The International Music Festival of Deià, with artistic direction of pianist Alfredo Oyagüez, held from May until late September at the Music Hall of Son Marroig, an old country estate nestled on the coast of Deia, in the Sierra Tramuntana, which belonged to Archduke Luis Salvador. Today it is a museum dedicated to his figure.
In between each concert you can enjoy spectacular views over the sea from its magnificent terrace.
