The Seven Last Words of Our Savior on the Cross (German: Die sieben letzten Worte unseres Erlösers am Kreuze) is the title of this orchestral work by Joseph Haydn published in 1787.
The composer himself made different versions, such as the version for string quartet that is now performed in this Lenten Concert at the Oratori de Sant Jordi. It will be carried out by Soriana Ivaniv (violin), Leah Wolfe García (violin), Marta Hatler (viola), Sureymis Tapanes (cello) and Waltraud Mucher (mezzo-soprano).
