The Palma Municipal Band dedicates an entire concert to the pasodoble, the genre that best defines the tradition of Spanish bands and which continues to be the most beloved by the public.

From classic bullfighting pieces to concert pasodobles and Levantine festival pieces, the program covers a repertoire made to be played in the street and listened to in company.

🏛️ The Pati d'Homes of Misericòrdia

The concert takes place in the arcaded courtyard of the former Misericòrdia hospice, right in the center of Palma: one of the open-air spaces with the best acoustics in the city and a regular venue for the municipal cultural program.

🎼 The Palma Municipal Music Band

Founded in 1849, the Palma Municipal Band is one of the oldest permanent ensembles in the Balearic Islands and a central part of the city's musical life. Each season combines concerts of symphonic repertoire for band with educational programs, collaborations with guest soloists, and a strong presence in Palma's neighborhoods and at institutional events.
