It is one of the great rock formations that gave the music scene. Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) was founded in Birmingham (England) in 1970 by Feff Lynne and Roy Wood, who wanted to create songs of modern pop rock with classical overtones.
Their career is really extraordinary, despite not having been active for more than two decades (they reunited in 2012), with a balance of more than 50 million copies sold and thirty hits. To history there left songs such as Telephone line, Evil woman, Can not get it out of my head, Strange magic, Last train to London, Don’t bring me down or Xanadu.
Key roles in the success of The Electric Light Orchestra had Mik Kaminski (with his famous blue violin) and Louis Clark (arranger of much of the repertoire), currently leaders of this new version of the ELO that have already been presented in more than 53 countries. The last album released is Alone in the Universe.
