This band was created in 2016 by four members of the Conservatori Superior Música de les Illes Balears with the intention of making an enthusiastic and nostalgic tour of the great works performed by maestros such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Freddie Hubbard, Charles Mingus or Thelonius Monk.
The NewBorn Jazz Quartet is formed by Lluís Gener (double bass), Pascual Carpena (drums), Markus Herrada (piano) and Guillem Nadal (trombone and trumpet).
The concert forms part of the TalentIB circuit.
