A gestural show of Fila Zero Teatre in the Talayotic settlement Ses Païsses. The legend of Nuredduna is an adaptation of the epic poem La deixa del Geni Grec (the legacy of Greek genius), of 1900, an ecclesiastical work of writer Miquel Costa i Llobera (Pollença, 1854 - Palma, 1922).
Nureddunna is the name of the protagonist of this known poem, granddaughter of the high priest and Sibyl of the tribe who lived in the grove of oak trees of Ses Paisses. The plot of the play is set in the proto-historical time when the first colonizing expeditions came to this land.
Awarded at the Juegos de Flores de Barcelona in 1902, La deixa del Geni Grec was turned into an opera in 1947 with the title of Nuredduna, with libretto by Miquel Forteza (1888-1969) and music by Antoni Massana (1890-1966).
