They take their name and inspiration from Johnny Freelance, a bassist who performed at the Woodstock festival in 1969 and the only artist in those years that was not recorded on audio or video. Following in his footsteps, The Johnny Freelance Experience began its journey with the unique concept of a live band, although they have already recorded their first album.
The band, designed in Brazil and launched in Barcelona, ??is formed by Nicholas D. Tavola (trumpet), Didi Lezcano (drums) and singer Bibang Afrika. Mixing different musical styles: jazz, funk, electronic, afro, Flamenco music, bossa nova, drum & bass, folk, indie ... although they say they do what they feel and the rest is purely coincidental.
In Porto Cristo we can enjoy their music, and dance until we drop, in this concert organized by the cultural association Col Renou • lectiu. Also will be performing the local bands Los Atlas, Sol Africa and Rutal Rap.
