Comedy directed by Billy Wilder in 1966 with a script by Wilder and IAL Diamond. It stars two of his favorite actors, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, who won the Oscar for Best secondary Actor.
As funny as corrosive, The Fortune Cookie tells the story of a photojournalist who during a football game suffers a concussion when hit by chance with a player. His brother, a lawyer with no scruples, proposes to fake an injury to collect a succulent compensation.
The screening of The Fortune Cookie is part of the cycle Cinefilms organized by CineCiutat. The films are screened in original version with subtitles in Castilian.
