Art Vocal Ensemble presents its eighteenth production at the Monti-Sion church in Pollença, a concert version of Henry Purcell's opera The Fairy Queen. Ars Musicae (with Bernat Cabot as concertmaster), a Majorcan Baroque orchestra residing in Bunyola and specializing in music from the 17th and 18th centuries, participates in it as a guest orchestra.
The soloists are Júlia Farrés-Llongueras (soprano), Irene Gili (soprano), Roger Berenguer (tenor) and Elías B. Arranz (baritone). This version will have the presence of the actor Xavi Frau as narrator, who will be in charge of facilitating the follow-up of the plot of the opera The Fairy Queen, based on the play A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.
