This exhibition draws from a small part of the collection of the Library of Catalonia, which in 1923 created the Section of Prints, Maps and Engravings.
La mirada del Viatger. Balears 1900-1935 (The eye of the traveler. Balearics 1900-1935) shows a selection of photographs from the collections of Josep Salvany, Leandre Cervera, Frederic Mompou, Publisher Albert Martin and Francesc Matheu i Fornells.
All were taken in the first three decades of the last century in the Balearic Islands, so that together they form a valuable historical, architectural, landscape and anthropological heritage.
