This formation, based in southern Germany, is composed of twelve professional cellists under the direction of Professor Hans Eric Deckert (Hamburg, 1927), who in turn was a student of Catalan cellist Pau Casals.
They have a very wide repertoire from music of the Renaissance to the present, and give concerts around the world, after long practice sessions. In this concert they offer a program consisting of works by Mozart, Casals, Wagner, Rodrigo, Pachelbel, Penderecki, Pärt and Stephenson.
